Ideal for plastic coatings, structural adhesives, and tough 3D printing resins. BR-771F demonstrates excellent cure speed and provides formulations with a good balance of high tensile strength and moderate elongation. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to plastic substrates, particularly polycarbonate.

With the widespread adoption of 3D printing for rapid manufacturing, the need for materials with a wider variety of physical properties has grown drastically. Rigid materials, with high tensile strength and low elongation, are readily available, but offerings of tough, flexible materials with high elongation are more limited. This paper discusses the challenges of formulating light-curable 3D printing resins and studies whether new free-radical-curing acrylate and hybrid formulations could overcome those challenges.
