BR-1043MB: Flexible Bio-Based Oligomer


This oligomer is a polyether urethane methacrylate with the majority of its content being bio-based. The bio-based backbone provides low irritant characteristics making it an optimal candidate for consumer applications.

NEW STUDY

Oligomer Ash Content Study


The term “ash” represents the impurities leftover after a sample decomposes at high temperatures and can be undesirable in certain applications that require the extreme heating of a material. Our technical experts recently studied the effects of ash content in 3D printing applications. Fourteen Bomar® oligomers were tested using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to determine the amount of ash left after exposure to high temperatures.
